a friend of a friend of mine who is also my friend asked him this question:
"when you die, who and where would you find the person that would be able to tell the story of how you lived your life?"
he answered abruptly.
"i would find farhan."
the friend said:
"why him?"
and my friend said:
"because he literally saw me grew up and stuck by me no matter what. and he knows more to me than most people do."
my friend, which i don't want to disclose who in case this is personal to him, told me about it and i've never felt so honoured in my life. i felt pretty guilty for while because we've haven't seen each other in ages. but he mentioned a good point. no matter how far apart we have become, you know that the person is still there no matter what. if you were to call, that person would definitely pick up. friends can be a million miles apart, but they're still friends. some friends come, some friends go. some friends would just like to lay back and have some good food or drinks and talk about the good ol' times.
i respect you as a proper adult, and i thank you for respecting me the same way.
here's to 5 years of friendship buddy :)
